Kingsmen Software Extends Leadership and Footprint

Following a recent $2.5MM funding round to support its emerging SaaS products, Kingsmen Software has expanded its leadership team while growing into the Atlanta metro area.

Kingsmen Software Services is strengthening its leadership team by naming new leaders to join Managing Partners Kevin Carney and Greg Hart in steering the firm’s growth and profitability.

Existing leaders Denise Beachley, Kelley Horton and Mike Kerr remain with the new leadership team. Beachley and Kerr direct the firm’s software development and engineering unit; Horton heads the Kingsmen Business Agility advisory practice.

New leaders Josh Buchanan and Ibrahim Nasmyth join Kingsmen from Relay Digital, a Charlotte-based experience design and strategy consultancy serving digital business and marketing teams. With decades of experience and expertise in financial services digital strategy, product management and experience design, Buchanan and Nasmyth will integrate services previously offered by Relay. Buchanan will head advisory services, including interactive, UX, analytics, DevOps and marketing. Nasmyth will lead strategy for client relationship growth, sales and account management.

“We know how high-performing enterprise technology organizations should build software that aligns to business value. That point of view drives our company and the way we deliver for clients. Josh and Ibrahim have seen firsthand how powerful that machine can be, and we’re excited to have them join us to take the firm to the next level,” said Horton. Managing partners and co-founders Micah Minarik and Bill Clerici will focus on building Kingsmen’s software products business unit.

Additionally, the Charlotte-based software FinTech has opened a location in Atlanta, where it offers Software Development-as-a-Service (SDaaS) and software advisory services to national and regional banks located in the Atlanta metro market.

“We’ve been engaging with financial services clients in Atlanta for several years now, so it’s only natural for us to begin establishing physical presence to deepen those relationships,” explains Kevin Carney, Managing Partner and Head of Kingsmen Software Services. “We value developing software in our own environments and on our own platforms - and opening in Atlanta allows us to provide the close-in client support that is core to our methodology.”
