Kingsmen Software Adds Head of Enterprise Engagements

Kingsmen Software’s Chief Agility Officer Kelley Horton has added Guy Beaver, a distinguished leadership coach, as Head of Enterprise Engagements. Horton’s successful program of customized training, workshops and leadership development is working with business leaders to develop their capacity to be adaptable during operating model transformations. Horton’s Business Agility practice prepares leadership for the challenges of software delivery and the changes that accompany transformation.

Beaver, a former CIO and CTO, was instrumental in leading multi-million dollar IT transformations with Net Objectives, with the goal of helping organizations deliver value to their customer.

“Being able to bring Guy aboard at Kingsmen allows us to serve more top-level leadership.” Horton states, adding, “Helping leaders understand the value in aligning objectives with the work being done by Agile teams is Guy’s strength, and the reason he is joining Kingsmen.” Beaver echoes this with his own take: “I am excited to work with Kingsmen. They practice what they preach. Being able to demonstrate how to deliver innovation through Kingsmen’s best-in-class software delivery model brings unmatchable value to our clients. We have our own software delivery craftsmen and DevOps folks doing Software Delivery as a Service (SDaaS) as well as crafting our own software products using Lean-Agile.

Horton hopes to get leaders to understand that training for, and transformation to Agile aren’t goals in and of themselves – the real goals are adaptability and the capacity to change at the speed of business requirements. As Partnership Coordinator for Southern Fried Agile, a Charlotte conference in its 9th year, Kelley wants all levels of transforming companies to utilize Agile practices to achieve business agility.

Kingsmen was recently named to Charlotte Business Journal’s “Largest Technology Consulting Firms in Charlotte” for the second consecutive year. They’ve also been named again to the Journal’s Fast 50, a list of Charlotte’s 50 fastest growing companies. With locations in both Charlotte and Atlanta, Kingsmen’s regional growth continues both geographically and across industries in its fifth year.
