Denise Beachley joins Kingsmen Software

Denise Beachley is added to Kingsmen Software’s roster of leaders, taking on the distinguishing title of Chief Program Evangelist at the Charlotte-based Capital Markets software development studio.

Kingsmen’s Managing Partners and Craftsmen created “The Kingsmen Way,” an agile delivery process that is uniquely automated and rare in its transparency to clients. Experiencing fast growth in 2016, they sought out senior experience in a non-traditional role to focus processes. They found this rare gem in Denise Beachley, who worked for Bank of America for over 7 years in a variety of progressive roles including Technical Delivery Manager, and Program / Portfolio Manager within the eCommerce/Digital space.

As Portfolio Manager for the Consumer Sales Portfolio, Beachley was focused primarily on Digital Sales encompassing bankofamerica.com, product research and account opening capabilities across products.

In the last four years, she emerged as a key thought leader contributing to solution delivery transformation from waterfall to lean-agile model within Consumer Sales. Instrumental in establishing the current Bank of America operating model, Beachley headed prioritization and grooming processes, Rally tool configurations, and the ‘release train’ management processes.

Managing Partner Micah Minarik says of Beachley, “Denise has grown her own program from basic single team, single room agile to scaled, portfolio level feature teams at one of the most sophisticated technology organizations in the world…” As Chief Program Evangelist, she will be able to mature “The Kingsmen Way” and “her experience will be of value to our customers with their own scaling factors as well.”

The Kingsmen Way of growing software has been responsible for the company’s incredible growth since founded by Minarik in 2013. Managing Partner Bill Clerici is responsible for Technical Delivery and anticipates “the leadership that Beachley will bring to our feature teams that are already operating with a high level of discipline.”

Excited to work with Kingsmen, Beachley looks forward to the continued growth of “such a dynamic company. I can’t wait to work with our teams to build upon Kingsmen’s excellent foundation.”

At the corner of 5th and Graham streets, the recently relocated company is only four blocks from Tryon Street and many of Kingsmen Software’s clients, keeping the Partners and Craftsmen [highly-skilled developers] close to the people they service while accommodating rapid growth.
